Wiki and wiki, what is wiki?

Well this was a wiki. Now it's just a website.

I disabled the wiki features a couple of years ago about the same time that xlwiki.com amd Mr Excel's Excel Wiki also gave up the ghost. The web is littered with failed and abandoned wikis. Most failed under an avalache of spam and/or lack of user contributed material - and never met the critacal mass (# of pages) needed to suceed ^[1] Understandably, posters would rather contribute to forums or blogs that provide feedback, recognition, banter and "community".

A hack of my old pmwiki software gave me the impetus to revitalize the excelwiki domain with a new CMS and purpose. After a proper conversion and cleanup of posts & images from pmwiki this site will mainly be a resource of Excel links and a handy repository of Excel/VBA code snippets and approaches that I use in my work. Better luck this time.

Despite the spam I do still believe in the Golden Rule and, failing that, Newton's Third Law.
