Excel offers many financial functions which can make life easier. However they have their nuances! For those of us who are not accountants and care about the cents, here are some of the things to watch for. (Accountants will readily ignore the cents, dollars, tens and hundreds and even tens of thousands in the name of "materiality" if the numbers they are dealing with are large enough).
