I am a Business Analyst in a Financial Services Firm. In previous roles (back in the 90's) I have taught Excel at beginner and intermediate levels and extensively used Excel for scientific calculations (high temperature thermo-dynamics, fluid flow and statistical analysis). I use Excel daily at work for analysing data extracted from data bases (via Excel Query, MS Query Analyzer and Crystal Reports), develop spreadsheet accounting models (reports) and some minor macro development.

I live in Victoria, Australia. I work long hours, 'cause I love my job (and we have no kids - so I can) and study in my copious spare time :-).

My nick name is not to be deliberately obtuse, I was given it in high school (back in the 80's) and have been using it ever since.
